Abstract: A quantitative survey of 916 visitors of a French museum has measured experiential benefits drawn from the use of an interactive tool in the museum context. The empirical analysis enabled to check if the experience differs according to the use of a digital mediation tool, according to its nature (mobile or fixed), according to the functional and hedonic dimensions of the user experience.
